Introduction: Donald W. Holmes
Born January 1953 and raised on a farm in south central Indiana.
I have been writing poetry, short stories and essays, since I was approximately 14
years old.
After graduating High School, I moved to Denver Colorado and attended a trade
school studying Photographic and Medical equipment repair.
(Graduated Highest-Honors) At the time of my graduation I was hired as an
Instructor, Technician and Technical Writer.
Returned to my home town and married. I have two children. 1 Daughter and 1 Son.
At ages 7 and 9 I attained custody of my children and raised them as a
single/divorced parent. My kids are raised and now I have 3 Grandchildren - twins!
boy/girl and our most recent addition to the family - another grandson in May of 2004.
Writing has always been my first love and always will be.

Introduction: A.M. Bourassa ~pix~
I was born and have lived my life in the shadow of the Peace
Tower. When I was just a wee girl, I received a diary for my
ninth birthday. Ever since then I have kept a journal - almost
49 years' worth. Recently I started transcribing those
scribblings to save on disc. It's amazing what one forgets!
My career in the entertainment industry has taken me all over
the world and occasionally I draw on those experiences when
writing poetry.
Actually, I wrote my first poem on September 14, 2003 and
immediately became infatuated with the medium. So,
although, I am almost older than dirt, I am a mere babe when
it comes to writing poetry.
Other artistic endeavours I enjoy are: painting and sketching,
life drawing, costume designing and anything to do with
textiles, dyes and colour. Etymology, history and the evolution
of the humanities have always interested me.
